The recently widowed Ms. Claus (Millie Osborne) is ready to be wooed. In search of an everlasting winter romance, she’s signed up for Ms. Christmas Bachelorette – will she choose someone naughty or nice?

Brought to Wellington on the back of a sleigh from the North Pole by award-winning improv troupe PopRox, Ms. Christmas Bachelorette will see three eligible bachelors (Austin Harrison, Jed Davies, and Dylan Hutton) and one bachelorette (Nina Hogg) vying for the favour of our snow queen at Hannah Playhouse on Friday the 13^th of December. Charismatic host Isaac Thomas will fan the flames while he slips, slides, and segues through the evening’s proceedings accompanied by ice-cool tunes from Lia Kelly on keys.

“It’s cheeky, hilarious, and just the right amount of raunchy,” director Dylan Hutton beams. “Bring your friends, bring your mum, bring your whole office for a Christmas party they’ll be talking about for ages. Honestly, it’s the perfect show to get us Wellingtonians into the holiday spirit.”

With a year of sold-out shows at Circa Theatre and two seasons of their New Zealand International Comedy Festival hit Farce Onion under their fluffy coats, PopRox’s Christmas-themed, improvised dating show is so hot it had to be set in the snow.

Ms. Claus will be checking her list and checking it twice before she chooses who’ll come home with her tonight. It’s anyone’s guess which elfish eligible she’ll invite to stand under the mistletoe on Christmas Eve!
