Despite recent demotion, MI6’s not-so-top agent Steele, Vaja Steele (Phoebe Caldeiro), prepares for her toughest mission yet… teamwork. Together with Russian operative Titsa Dynamite (Nina Hogg), Steele must abandon her solo spy ways in order to retrieve a stolen drive from a non-disclosed exotic location. Will they die another day? Or die trying?

The third show from Comedy Gold, Two Girls One Gun debuts at BATS Theatre from the 23rd to the 27th with more figurative and physical punches per minute than any other show in July. Written by Troy Etherington, Hogg, and Caldeiro, this spy-comedy follows smash BATS hits Cocked & Loaded and When Booty Calls, and brings together the company’s signature features – original music (Caldeiro), wall-to-wall action, and genre parody – in one electrifying 50-minute laugh fest.

Two Girls One Gun is just the right mix of sexy, silly, and slick,” director Katie Hill says. “Hogg and Caldeiro have honed their craft, delivering comedy chops and stunt spectacles that will have you laughing and gasping in the same breath.”

And what’s an action-comedy without a little danger?

Filling the role of fight choreographer as well, Hogg says that “this time round we’ve got a few tricks up our sleeves, but the focus is on some very gritty and real hand-to-hand combat. We’ve pulled together four years of training to create some breathtaking and adrenaline-inducing moments in this show!”

What do you say, Wellington. Will you accept this mission?
